On the morning of 1 July 2019, the G215 line Liyuan to Dunhuang Expressway opening operation start ceremony was held in Dunhuang, which marks the Liudun Expressway, which took nearly three years to build, was officially opened for operation. The Liudun Expressway is a fast track from Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang to Dunhuang from Liyuan, which will realize the interconnection of Liyuan Railway Station, High Speed Railway Station, G30 Expressway, G3011 Expressway and Dunhuang City, and will play a role in promoting the creation of the “Great Dunhuang Tourism Cultural Tourism Circle” in Gansu Province.
